Job Description
Reporting to - Director People Resources
• Partners with HR Director to translate the company people strategies into broad level execution plans and tactics.
• Creates & reviews process for Home Office HR systems & policies, training, appraisals, payroll, compensation & benefits, Manpower planning, recruitment & selection.
• Provides guidance and coaching to the corporate HR team.
• Key Customers include the Leadership teams, home office staff functions and operations.
• A generalist leadership position with at least 2- 3 years of direct compensation and benefits experience
• Have an in depth knowledge of multi state statuaries and compliances.
• Provides key inputs to Director HR to anticipate and identify future people related issues to ensure the people strategies are consistent with the current and future needs of the business and applicable employment laws.
• Provides input to HR Director regarding design and development of needed services, processes and tools necessary to execute the people strategy.
• Anticipates and assesses the gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within operations and uses information to drive appropriate actions.
• Role models the utilization of effective people systems within the organization (selection, PDS, rewards and recognition, etc.). Proactively provides relevant approaches/interventions to key customers (e.g., commitment survey, rewards and recognition).
• Partners with key customers to interpret diagnostic results, facilitate feedback, and coach them in the action planning process (e.g., risk management, ROIP, commitment survey, compensation, HR audits), thus responsible to help line management improve business results.
• Partners with Manager ER/McCopco team to anticipate and determine responses to HR-related crisis situations (e.g., third-party interventions, health and safety issues and wage and hour audits).
