Business Writer –Customer Portfolio Management
We are seeking a Business Writer to assist in the creation and execution of business communications and publications for our leaders, customers and stakeholders. Deliverables would include B2B and B2C communications including business letters, reports, case studies, company profiles, manuals, presentations, proposals, newsletters, survey results/thought leadership and staff profiles.
Client Requirements
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with business units, technologists, managers, and senior executives are essential
- Experience in writing material for audiences from varied professional disciplines (finance, operations, Tax, IT etc.) is preferred
- The ability to understand and research information from various business perspectives including Tax, operations, finance, and technology is required
- Candidates must be highly effective at facilitating meetings and interviews with process owners and communicating business requirements / priorities
- Should be able to prepare business proposals based on pertinent information received
- Candidates must be highly skilled in business analysis with good problem solving, creative thinking, and decision making skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders are critical
- The ability to identify issues, seek solutions, and gain consensus regarding outcome is required
- The ability to prioritize; coordinate, and execute multiple tasks and deliverables within defined timelines is critical
- Strong MS Office Word and Excel skills are necessary
- Previous experience with stakeholder analysis and communications planning is desired but not required.
Desired Skills & Experience
Skills Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar environment.
- The successful candidate will have experience in proposal writing, business letter writing, reporting and other related functions.
- They preferably should have experience in working in a cross border environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or English is required. Associate degree or a minor in Business Management is preferred

- Ability to operate a complex process in an efficient, consistent and thorough manner.
- Strong writing and proof reading skills.
- Enjoys problem solving
Interpersonal skills
- A strong team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with others.
- Must be able to work virtually, and independently.
Flexibility
- Respond well to deadlines and work outside of normal hours when required.
- Comfortable working on a number of projects /documents concurrently.
- Able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
