Senior Manager –Corporate Accounting

Our client a leading manufacturing company has retained our services to identify a Senior Manager –Corporate Accounting to be based at Mumbai.

Interested candidates should be CAs having 6-7 years of experience in Plant Accounts with 2-3 years experience in Corporate Accounts co-ordinating and guiding multi locational plant account controllers.

The role will be:

· Analysis of expenses, reporting to management on financials, analysis and ad-hoc financial information to senior management after coordinating with

various departments, generating MIS reports, control expense, Variance, budget allocation .

· Statutory Audit - understanding the requirement of statutory auditors for finalization of accounts, coordinate and draft the firm's statutory filings and quarterly earnings .

· Tax related matters, ensure security of the accounts, general ledger, compilation of P & L account, finalization of accounts, working knowledge of direct & indirect taxation i.e. income tax, sales Tax/VAT, supporting tax assessment, setting up control mechanism, checks & balance in various business processes and ensuring compliances on all counts.

Desired skills(Technical):

· Good knowledge of decentralized & centralized accounting set ups with exposure to both plant accounting & corporate accounts & ERP systems

· Accounting Standards Indian & IFRS & Corporate Laws & Direct & Indirect Taxation Laws, MS office especially excel, power point & word

· Exposure to Hyperion kind of systems for group reporting
