This role is responsible for monitoring and reporting the financial health of the company, while ensuring financial transparency, regulatory and

legal compliance, judicious utilization of funds, and minimization of financial risk. The overall responsibility will be to ensure that the business objectives are met through prudent management of the organisation's finances

Design accounting policies , reporting formats and tax planning

Design and review policies, processes, systems, reporting formats relating to finance function

Design and review accounting and budgeting formats

Measure and report financial performance of the business on parameters as defined by the organisation

Study internal audit reports and prepare proposals for management review

Ensure tax planning and compliance with rules ,regulations and statutory activities

Prepare business financial budget

Collate individual department budgets and collate into the final financial budget

Obtaing budget approval from Chief executive officer

Define cost budgeting process and cost accounts

Design and take ownership of cost budgeting process and MIS flows necessary for implementation

Convert approved budget and performance benchmarks into cost budgeting metrics and targets

Explore means for minimising cost of working capital through usage of novel financial instruments, management of payables and receivables , ensure funding , managing the cost of funds

Adhere to necessary compliances

Ensure adherence to all financial compliances, e.g. filing of accounts, circulars on relevant group financial matters

People development

Build team and ensure appropriate levels of competency through training programs, recruitment, etc

Ensure performance appraisals are carried out accurately and on time

Education:

(UG - B.Com - Commerce) AND (PG - CA)
