1) Accounting & finance -

a. Operational responsibility to book-keeping, finance, tax, budgeting & reporting

b. Timely and accurate submission of monthly MIS, financial statements and annual financial reports, while ensuring compliance with applicable Accounting Standards

c. Advising management on fund management, cost control, credit control, profitability, headcount cost etc.

d. Review & monitor Accounts Receivables very closely with the objective of supporting management’s goal of reducing the DSO

2) Treasury –

a. Projecting short term and long term cash flow for decision making

b. Arranging working capital borrowing from banks for augmenting operations and expansion plans

c. Investment of surplus funds in zero risk instruments

3) Financial Planning & Analysis -

a. Formulating expense & headcount budgets and analyzing results on a monthly basis

b. Assisting management in forming strategies to maximise profitability, risk management and internal control compliance

4) Taxation –

a. Transfer Pricing – prior experience in handling transfer pricing studies, filings & assessments.

b. Compliance with all applicable tax filings & certifications

c. Advising management on tax optimisation to the company as well as employees on their personal taxation

The position reports to the Financial Controller – Asia Pacific, who has the Controllership responsibility for all legal entities in Asia Pacific region. This role also has a dotted line reporting to Managing Director - India

Education & experience:

Finance Professional with 10 + years of post qualification experience with at least 5 years in a controllership position in a MNC / IT industry. Qualified Chartered Accountants who have worked with software product companies will be preferred
